Welcome to our blog Interior Canvas!

As avid admirers of the interior design trade, we pour over magazines and coffee table books — eager to learn the latest tips, tricks and secrets from the experts in this field. We are intrigued by functionality, logic, history, and the rules that apply to the many layers that make up what we call Home.

Interior Canvas is unlike any other blog you have read before. Here, we bring the most thorough and original interior design knowledge to you, the reader, by sourcing, interviewing and featuring the experts in the field. Substance, not just pretty pictures, will arrive in every post. Our goal is to showcase a variety of styles, opinions, voices and topics from a primarily local level. Trend setters, seasoned professionals, fresh new faces and everyone in between will be hand-selected by us and presented to you.

And who’s behind this canvas? Here’s a little more about us:

Anna Kristin Yarbrough–I was born and raised in Nashville, Tennessee. After graduating Cum Laude from The University of Georgia, I moved to Charlotte, North Carolina where I quickly built a successful career in residential real estate. In 2007, I moved back to Nashville to raise a family with my husband and continue selling real estate, while also joining a successful local estate sales company. My true love and appreciation has always been with interior design, and in 2011-the concept for Interior Canvas was born. I live with my husband, three little girls, and my chocolate lab, George.

Cameron Weaver – I was born and raised in Dallas,Texas.  After graduating from the University of Texas at Austin with a BA in Art History, I moved to Paris, France.  In Paris, I completed Christie’s Education with a focus on French Decorative Arts, while working with antiques at Perrin Antiquaires.  I then split my time between Paris and Chicago working for the nonprofit organization, American Friends of Versailles.  Later, I married and moved to Menlo Park, California, where I worked for Traditions, a home furnishings business.  For 10 years, I lived in Nashville where our blog was born.  Recently, I moved to Los Angeles where I live with my husband and three children.

We hope you will join us and come along for the ride!
